Baby Will Is Here!

William Christopher HerrettBorn Yesterday, May 7, somewhere between 7:30 and 8:00 am est.
He weighed in at 7# 9oz and is 19" long.
He has dark hair and is perfect in every way.(That's not just a grandmother's point of view, it's also my professional opinion as a pediatric nurse- and let it go on record that his pediatrician concurred:

Mother and baby are both doing very well.

Gigi and Papa are holding their own with the 1 and 2 year olds-(did I mention the dogs?)
we left the camera at the house ready to go,
so
soon and very soon we'll have pictures up.
BUT,We've not missed a beat on meals, outings, sunscreen,bug spray,naps and baths.
At the first visit Joey referred to Will as "DD"- his word for dog.
Shelby, 2, was so happy to see Mama.
She sat adoringly at the foot of the bed watching Kristen nurse Will.
It seemed that all was bliss.
But lo,
the moment came when Kristen- still on bedrest, changed Will's diaper.
Will, was not quite in agreement with the proceedings and began to-
"how you say?"
CRY.
Shelby's eyes widened in a look of pure horror.
Of course.
It now all comes together.
And by God's grace,
all will be well.
